Anne Tallineau was appointed Executive Director of the Institut français in 2014. After receiving a law degree, she embarked on a career in the film industry. She moved to Germany in 1994, where for 15 years she dedicated herself to mediating between German and French culture in the neighbouring country. After returning to France, she was appointed Special Advisor for Culture to the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë (2010-2012). She then worked in the cabinet of French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius as a Special Advisor for Culture, Education and Research (2012-2014). Anne Tallineau holds the honorary title of Officier des Arts et des Lettres. As Secretary-General of the FGYO, she intends to ‘focus on the concerns of young people and strengthen sustainability and culture in youth exchange.’
