The FranceMobil programme offers playful, age-appropriate contact with the French language and culture. With this mission in mind, members of the FranceMobil team visit school classes in general and vocational schools, whether on location in the classroom or online. They also provide pupils with information about opportunities for exchange.
Schools in each state throughout Germany can request a lecturer, easily and free of charge, using the online form.
About FranceMobil
FranceMobil is a joint project of the following institutions and organisations:
- Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO)
- French Embassy / Institut Français Deutschland
- Deutsch-Französisches Institut Erlangen
- Klett-Verlag publishing house
Many of the states in Germany also support FranceMobil financially, including Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein.
Like its counterpart mobiklasse.de in France, FranceMobil operates under the patronage of the authorised person for Franco-German cultural cooperation and the Minister of Education and Youth in France.
Both programmes were presented with the Adenauer-de Gaulle Prize in 2004 for their exemplary engagement in Franco-German cooperation.
