There are around 100 Junior Ambassadors dedicated to Franco-German friendship; they represent the FGYO on location at events held throughout all of the states and regions.

Student unions – Studierendenwerke in Germany and the CNOUS/CROUS in France – are tasked with improving students’ everyday lives in social, economic, cultural and health terms.
Educational staff provide valuable links between independent associations in youth work and the FGYO. They play an important role in implementing Franco-German and international mobility projects.
As contacts for international youth exchange in the federal states and regions, country representatives make a significant contribution to promoting Franco-German youth exchange. They are also responsible for processing applications.
Partners appointed by the respective states in the state ministries of culture strive to continuously improve foreign-language instruction in schools. They also promote cooperation and mutual exchange with countries both within and beyond the European Union.
The ‘Work with a partner’ programme seeks to deepen intercultural cooperation between organisations in Germany and France. ‘Work with a partner’ gives young people an opportunity to gain their first career experience in a club or institution in the partner country.
CEE, SEE and Maghreb Networks and their regional advisers
Four regional advisors support the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), South Eastern Europe (SEE) and Maghreb networks with their expertise and contribute to deepening the encounters.
The FGYO's mission is to deepen the links between children, young people, young adults and those involved in youth work. To fulfill this mission, the FGYO works with partner organizations that can play a central role.
