An internship at our European Study Center (ESC) Strasbourg provides a unique opportunity to work in an international environment with people coming from around the world. The study center is located in the Château de Pourtales, a 250-year old and company-owned castle, that also operates a 3-star hotel.

Duration:
6 months starting January / March / September

Responsibilites:

  • Project management: organization and implementation of faculty-led programs in Europe
  • Expanding and cultivating contacts with companies and institutions that welcome our groups
  • Budgeting and cost control
  • Research and analysis on cultural and academic topcis related to study abroad topics and regions
  • Evaluation of customer reviews
  • Reception and guest service with check-in and check-out
  • Breakfast service with preparation and clean-up
  • Back office support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (tourism, business administration, cultural studies or similar)
  • Previous experience abroad and experience in organization of events/group trips preferred
  • Fluency in French and English (further language skills in German, Italian and/or Spanish preferred)
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
